1866:     Sharon Evangelical Church was formed with the Reverend Joseph Bussard as the first pastor. Services were conducted in German.

1866-1872:     Reverend Dan Long, Reverend George Kohl, Reverend John Miller, Reverend Eli Mell, Reverend Henry Kletzing and Reverend H Hauser all served the church

4/6/1869:    John & Mary Smith donated land from their farm for the new church and cemetery.

12/31/1869:    Dedication of new church building. Total cost of the new church was $1400.

1872-1874:     Reverend Matthias Knoll

1876-1878:     Reverend Job Yaggy

1878-1880:     Reverend Andrew Gramley

1880-1881:     Reverend John Stauffacher

1881-1884:     Reverend Daniel Fink

1889:     Controversial purchase of 1st Organ. Many members felt that a musical instrument was out of place in a house of worship.

1895-1898:     Reverend James Hamilton

1898-1901:     Reverend Samuel Skogsberg

1900:     Parsonage and 4 acres purchased

1901-1905:     Reverend Samuel Streyfeller. 1st pastor to reside in the parsonage.

1905-1906:     Reverend H. Calvin Arch

1906-1909:     Reverend George Mullen

1909-1911:     Reverend Samuel Ramige

1911-1913:     Reverend J. Beale  Meloy

1913-1918:     Reverend George Roths

1917:     Current Parsonage built by Yost Yoder at a cost of $3876.68 with the labor being donated

3/22/1918:    Parsonage dedicated with no indebtedness

1918-1922:     Reverend Clark  Zeigler

1922-1923:     Reverend Leonard Wood

1923-1928:     Reverend  Melvin Shank

1928-1935:     Reverend Roy Kerney

1935-1937:     Reverend Walter Ulrich

1937-1940:     Reverend Fred Pieper

1940-1942:     Reverend Gordan Alderman

5/28/1941:    1st wedding held at the church uniting  Mabel Yoder and J. Orville Hora. Prior to this time, weddings were held at the home of the bride’s parents.

1942-1946:     Reverend William Ellerbeck

1946:    The Evangelical United Brethren Church is the result of the union between the United Brethren in Christ and the Evangelical Churches. With this merger, our name changed to Sharon Evangelical United Brethren Church.

1946-1951:     Reverend Ira Hoover

1951-1957:     Reverend Richard Pfaltzgraff

1957-1962:     Reverend Howard Marty

1/4/1959:     1st service in new church

1/25/1959:     Dedication of new church building

1962-1968:     Reverend Samuel Hahn

1968:     The Evangelical United Brethren Church merged with the Methodist church forming the  Sharon Center United Methodist Church.

1968-1970:     Reverend Robert Hefty

1970-1972:     Reverend Russell Wilson

1972-1973:     Reverend Robert Bishop

1973-1975:     Reverend Elgin Howard

1975-1978:     Reverend Dwight Bonham

1978-1994:     Reverend Yon Schoenmaker

1994-1999:     Reverend Robert Barrick

1999-Present:     Reverend Doug Cue
